Renée Chichester is a passionate advocate for children’s rights and well-being who believes every child deserves a safe, stable, and nurturing home.

She began her service as a CASA volunteer in 2011 with Henrico Court Appointed Special Advocates in Henrico, Virginia, where over four years she advocated on eight cases, positively impacting the lives of sixteen abused and neglected children.

Renée’s commitment to advocacy is further strengthened by her personal experience collaborating with educators and administrators to ensure appropriate educational support for her daughter through the IEP process. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Mary Baldwin University, a Master of Science in Human Services with a specialization in social and community service and is a Certified Financial Social Worker (CFSW).

In addition to her professional background, Renée is actively involved in her church, serving in new members, finance, and mission ministries, and enjoys baking, exploring new recipes and cuisines, and spending time with her five grandchildren in her hometown of Richmond, Virginia.
